2001- Norsat introduces a compact IP encapsulator that enables the transport of Internet content at very high speeds (i.e :200 Mbps) for both satellite and cable markets. Norsat introduces the picoterminal under contract for a large military customer. Technology Partnership Canada makes$9.4m investment in Norsat. |

2002 - Norsat builds on its portable terminal experience by introducing a commercial grade flyaway terminal for news gathering organizations. Norsat sells its first NewsLink system to CBS News. |
