Our company headquarters in Richmond, BC is responsible for production, sales, and technical support for our customers. We are currently looking for a professional with strong electrical and mechanical skills to join our Production Team as a Product Assembly/Test Technologist.
Summary:
- Working with production documentation like Bill of Materials (BOM’s), and CAD drawings.
- Solder PCB assemblies with fine-pitch components to be integrated into sub-assemblies
- Assembling mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies of a satellite terminal.
- Participating in delivering quality products on-time to our customers.
- Maximizing and maintaining quality as per the latest production and test standard, and BOM.
- Assisting in the transfer of designed products to manufacturing.
- Creating and executing sub-assembly and system level tests.
- Performing product verification testing of customer product before shipment.
- Ability to lead a team of peers
- Maintaining departmental test equipment and environment.
- Maintaining records of solutions, set-ups and results.
- Other important activities will include continuous improvement of products/processes through time and cost reduction.
