(TSX – NII.TO; OTC BB – NSATF.OB) announced today that its partner, DiTV, a multi-disciplinary engineering services firm, has established an Authorized Service Center in Taipei, Taiwan to support customers of Norsat’s satellite systems.
“This service center will give us a competitive edge over other players in the market. We are the only company that can provide comprehensive Tier I and Tier II support for satellite systems in Taiwan,” said James Hsueh, President, DiTV.
The Service Center will provide an in-country capability to diagnose, repair, overhaul and upgrade fielded satellite systems. DiTV has also purchased a comprehensive set of critical and depot-level spares and can offer an advanced parts exchange program for fielded units. The facility is manned by Norsat Certified Field TechniciansTM.
