A Ku-band example using a measured figure of 0.8 dB would be:

2.0 : 1 1 : 1 0.5 dB 0.8 dB + 0.5 dB = 1.3 dB

It is important to consider the effects of VSWR when making your LNB selection as the effect of VSWR on the noise figure of an LNB can be substantial.
